Daphne faced Fairhope in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Trojans lost to the Pirates on the road  by a   38-21 margin. The  contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.

  Trey Garner was a one-man wrecking crew For Fairhope. as he threw for 230 yards and three  TDs, and also rushed for 43 yards and a pair of  scores. Garner's passing game has become a key predictor of the Pirates' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.
