Glenbrook North has gone a perfect 9-0 against Evanston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Spartans will head out to take on the Wildkits at 5:00 p.m. Glenbrook North is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Glenbrook North came up short against Maine South and fell 2-0.

While Glenbrook North was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Evanston and Glenbrook South meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Wildkits took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans.

Evanston might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Glenbrook South: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 25-23, 27-25.

Evanston has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season. As for Glenbrook North, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.

Glenbrook North beat Evanston 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
