Armijo won the last time they faced Burbank and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Royals walked away with a 3-1 win over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Armijo walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 11-25, 25-14.

Layla Heredia paced Armijo's offense, picking up 11 kills. Heredia got some help from Hope Amparo and her 22 assists. Heredia was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Armijo's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Burbank, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Armijo will challenge rival Fairfield at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Burbank is set to square off against their familiar foe Johnson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
