Geraldine's game  last Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Collinsville Panthers  9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Bulldogs have posted  since March 7th.
 The team  relied heavily on  Amelia Cofield, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double. That  double marked the first that  she  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Addison Griffin, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
Geraldine's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Collinsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1.
 Looking ahead, Geraldine will take on Section at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Collinsville, they will square off against Asbury at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak.
