Elmwood-Murdock won the last time they faced Mead and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Elmwood-Murdock Knights walked away with a 62-50 win over the Mead Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Mead lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brady Gartner, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Gartner is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Couch, who posted 16 points.

Elmwood-Murdock's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Mead, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elmwood-Murdock will be taking part in a tournament against Freeman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Freeman is on a eight-game streak of home wins, Elmwood-Murdock a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Mead, they will square off against Elmwood-Murdock at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th.
