Softball Recap: Mason County Eastern Comes Up Short

Mason County Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the White Cloud Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat back in April.

Mason County Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for White Cloud, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.

Mason County Eastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White Cloud, they will challenge Pentwater at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
