Baseball Game Preview: Haines City Hornets vs. Ridge Community Bolts

The Haines City Hornets will take on the Ridge Community Bolts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Haines City has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 17.

Haines City fell victim to McKeel Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 17-0.

Haines City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juan Valbuena-Laballos, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. That's the most hits Valbuena-Laballos has posted since back in February.

Meanwhile, Ridge Community lost 21-9 to Lake Region on Monday. The Bolts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ridge Community now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Haines City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Haines City suffered a grim 15-3 defeat to Ridge Community in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can Haines City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
