Basketball Game Preview: Cascade Christian Cougars vs. Auburn Adventist Falcons

The Cascade Christian Cougars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Auburn Adventist Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Cascade Christian blew past Klahowya, posting a 77-39 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Auburn Adventist's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 80-63 to Taholah. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Falcons came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Chitwhins are ranked 248th).

Auburn Adventist's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Cascade Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Everything came up roses for Cascade Christian against Auburn Adventist in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured an 85-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cascade Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
