Recap: Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights vs. Bucktail Bucks
Neumann Regional Academy had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 17-2 walloping at the hands of the Bucktail Bucks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Neumann Regional Academy of the 15-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
For Bucktail's part, Makenzie Wagner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Wagner was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
