Indiana Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 68-58 victory over the Union Grove Christian Patriots.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indiana Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sawyer Tipton, who posted 16 points and three steals. Seth Plew was another key player, going 7 of 14 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

Defeat or not, Union Grove Christian got some senior leadership from Colin Wykes and Garrett Trinkle. Wykes went 9 of 21 on his way to 23 points and five assists, while Trinkle went 6 of 9 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trinkle has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Miller, who put up ten points.

Indiana Christian Academy's record is now 9-1. As for Union Grove Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.

Indiana Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-38 win against Glen Iris Baptist on the 6th. As for Union Grove Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-42 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 6th.
