Recap: Escondido Charter White Tigers vs. Santa Fe Christian Eagles
On Friday, Escondido Charter ended up a good deal behind Santa Fe Christian and lost 54-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Escondido Charter has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Escondido Charter had strong showings from Ashton Pincock, who scored six points along with six rebounds, and Christian Nguyen, who scored seven points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nguyen has scored all season.
This is the second loss in a row for Escondido Charter and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Santa Fe Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Escondido Charter will take on Bishop's at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop's is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Santa Fe Christian, they will be playing at home against La Jolla Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
