Gretna East waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Platte County Pirates.

Brooklyn Beethe was nothing short of spectacular: she had 15 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Platte County still got an impressive performance from Gia DeRose, who had 16 digs and five assists.
