With a playoff win on the line, Arnold rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Fort Walton Beach Vikings with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Marlins as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Cooper Moss was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Maddox Bean was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Nathan Neeley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Arnold always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Walton Beach only posted an OBP of .286.

Arnold pushed their record up to 23-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Walton Beach, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.

Coming up, Arnold will challenge Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Marlins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. Fort Walton Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
