Softball Recap: Hopkins Has No Trouble Against Taft School

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Loomis Chaffee School, Hopkins was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Taft School Big Red as they made off with a 9-2 win. The Hilltoppers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Hopkins back to even at 2-2. As for Taft School, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Hopkins will be playing at home against Canterbury School at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Taft School, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Greens Farms Academy at 2:30 p.m. on May 10.
