Basketball Game Preview: West Hardin Oilers vs. Sabine Pass Sharks

The West Hardin Oilers will head out to take on the Sabine Pass Sharks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

West Hardin is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest win since November 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They breezed by Danbury to the tune of 55-22. The Oilers didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Sabine Pass took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 77-25 win over Deweyville.

West Hardin's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Sabine Pass, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.

Things could have been worse for West Hardin, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-35 loss to Sabine Pass in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can West Hardin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
