Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglas). They claimed a resounding 94-20 win over the Cholla Chargers. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Renatta Othon was a one-woman wrecking crew for Douglas as she dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten steals. What's more, Othon also posted a 69% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Carolina Anguiano was another key player, going 7 for 15 on her way to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Douglas was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Douglas, bringing their record for this year to 23-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Cholla, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
