Baseball Recap: Millennium Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Millennium's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Millennium and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Cornerstone Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millennium will venture away from home to challenge Bethany Community at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Bethany Community's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Cornerstone Charter, they are taking a road trip to take on Clover Garden School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
