Basketball Game Preview: Appleton North Lightning vs. Kimberly Papermakers

The Appleton North Lightning will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Kimberly Papermakers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, Appleton North earned a 70-59 win over Eau Claire Memorial.

Meanwhile, Kimberly was able to grind out a solid victory over Bay Port on Saturday, taking the game 69-60.

Appleton North is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Kimberly, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
