Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short on the Road Against DSST: College View

Kennedy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the DSST: College View Wolves on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-12.

Thanh Le paced Kennedy's offense, picking up five kills. Le also shared the team's lead in assists with Kien Ngo: they picked up three each.

DSST: College View can attribute much of their success to Santiago Gonzalez, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Gonzalez has posted since back in March of 2024.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Mullen on the 7th. As for DSST: College View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against DSST: Cedar on the 11th.
