Wheeling entered their tilt with Evanston on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildkits. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

While Wheeling won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23.

Wheeling's victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Evanston, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 9-21.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Wheeling will head out to take on Elgin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Evanston, they will venture away from home to face off against New Trier at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
