Football Game Preview: Valhalla Vikings vs. Edgemont Panthers

The Valhalla Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Edgemont Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Valhalla came up short against Tuckahoe and fell 28-20. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Edgemont was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 20-16 to Hastings.

Edgemont's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Valhalla, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Valhalla against Edgemont when the teams last played back in September of 2017, as the squad secured a 35-6 victory. In that matchup, the Vikings amassed a halftime lead of 26-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
