Having struggled with ten losses in a row, South Callaway finally turned things around against Eugene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Eagles.
Meanwhile, Hermann had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Wildcats onto the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
