Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson lost against Hempstead back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0. Jefferson have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Hempstead, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will host Cedar Falls at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Cedar Falls' last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hempstead, they will square off against Washington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hempstead will be up against Washington's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.71 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
