Baseball Game Preview: West Monona Spartans vs. Ridge View Raptors

West Monona and Ridge View are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Spartans will welcome the Raptors at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, West Monona came up short against Cherokee Washington and fell 9-4. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Ridge View lost 10-1 to Woodbine on Friday. The match marked the Raptors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Ridge View and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for West Monona, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
