Belmont's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the White Mountains Spartans a 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Red Raiders, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Belmont has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for White Mountains, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Belmont beat the Spartans by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday.
