The Basha Bears fell 8-5 to the Desert Ridge Jaguars on Friday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

David Richter was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.
