Basketball Recap: Mission Vista Comes Up Short

Mission Vista was the 59-36 winner over High Tech SD when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Mission Vista took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of High Tech SD on Thursday.

High Tech SD's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sean Josiah led the charge by putting up 14 points and three steals. What's more, Josiah posted four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jayden Dimalanta, who earned 12 points and eight rebounds.

Mission Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for High Tech SD, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Mission Vista didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-35 win against San Pasqual on the 21st. As for High Tech SD, they have also already played their next matchup, a 56-0 victory against Eastlake on the 22nd.
