Basketball Recap: Mission Vista Takes a Loss

Mission Vista was the 59-36 winner over High Tech SD when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Mission Vista fell 61-50 to High Tech SD on Thursday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead High Tech SD to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sean Josiah, who posted 14 points and three steals. What's more, Josiah posted four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jayden Dimalanta, who put up 12 points and eight rebounds.

Mission Vista's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for High Tech SD, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Mission Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 39-35 win against San Pasqual on the 21st. As for High Tech SD, they will take on Eastlake at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
