Fullerton snaps three-game streak of losses at home

Recap: Fullerton Warriors vs. Riverside Chargers
The Fullerton Warriors won the last time they faced the Riverside Chargers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Fullerton came out on top against Riverside by a score of 26-18. The win made it back-to-back wins for Fullerton.
Fullerton had a senior duo take command as Melinda Pickrel scored two points along with 11 rebounds and eight steals and Paige Horn scored six points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that Pickrel pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaci Maxfield, who scored five points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Fullerton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
Fullerton will head out on the road to face off against Twin River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chambers/Wheeler Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Chambers/Wheeler Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Tuesday.
