They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crawfordsville Athenians, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for Irvington Preparatory Academy in their matchups with Crawfordsville: they've now won three in a row.

Irvington Preparatory Academy took Crawfordsville into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-13, 25-20, 15-25, 15-6.

G'Yvone Ennis paced Irvington Preparatory Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Ennis got some help from John Curry and his 15 assists. Curry was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Irvington Preparatory Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Crawfordsville, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
