Soccer Game Preview: Woodstock vs. Woodstock North

The Woodstock Blue Streaks will square off against the Woodstock North Thunder at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Woodstock is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Lakes just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 4-0 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Woodstock North came up short against Belvidere North on Friday, falling 5-1. The loss continues a trend for Woodstock North in their meetings with Belvidere North: they've now lost four in a row.

Woodstock North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Woodstock, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Woodstock came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodstock North when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Blue Streaks repeat their success, or do the Thunder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
