Softball Recap: Armstrong Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Armstrong's offense. They came up short against the Iroquois West Raiders on Friday, falling 10-0. The Trojans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Armstrong saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylyn Hayes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. Ashlyn Ackerman also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Armstrong's record now sits at 7-16. As for Iroquois West, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Armstrong will face off against Westville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Iroquois West, they will head out to square off against St. Anne at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
