For Heritage Christian's part, Alayna Tesnar was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Tesnar has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive pitching appearances.
