Gilbert not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Midland Valley Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.
Gilbert never let Midland Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-23.
Gabby Esposito paced Gilbert's offense, picking up 16 kills. Esposito got some help from Kaylie Spires and her 24 assists. Spires was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.
