Hackberry has gone 8-1 against South Cameron recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Tarpons at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Hackberry took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over Washington-Marion.

Meanwhile, South Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Starks.

Hackberry's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for South Cameron, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Hackberry came out on top in a nail-biter against South Cameron in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, sneaking past 15-13. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Tarpons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
