Softball Game Preview: Clark Chargers vs. Rancho Rams

Clark is 0-3 against Rancho since April of 2024 but things could change on Monday. The Chargers will be playing at home against the Rams at 3:30 p.m. Rancho took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Clark, who comes in off a win.

Clark played against Pinecrest Academy Cadence on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

Friday just wasn't the day for Rancho's offense. They came up short against Coronado on Friday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost six in a row.

Clark is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Rancho, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
