East Poinsett County came out on top against Rivercrest on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run seventh inning. The Warriors put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 15-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 14 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for East Poinsett County and bumps their season record up to 16-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Rivercrest, they moved to 7-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, East Poinsett County will welcome McCrory at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rivercrest, they are taking a road trip to square off against Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
