Football Recap: Methacton Warriors vs. Upper Perkiomen Indians
Methacton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Upper Perkiomen Indians 35-7. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Upper Perkiomen was led to victory by Zach Schwartz and Logan O'Donnell. Schwartz rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, while O'Donnell rushed for 23 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave O'Donnell a new career-high in rushing yards.
Methacton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Upper Perkiomen, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
