Volleyball Recap: Dade Christian Starts Season with Loss at Home

Dade Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the International Studies Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Dade Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.

International Studies' win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, International Studies will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Somerset Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dade Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' matchup: after the Eagles face off against Carol City, they'll take on Dade Christian again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
