Football Recap: Seattle Prep Takes a Loss

If Seattle Prep was riding high fresh off their 35-14 takedown of Bishop Blanchet last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost to the Rainier Beach Vikings at home by a 35-21 margin on Thursday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Seattle Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Rainier Beach, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Seattle Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Ballard at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. Meanwhile, Rainier Beach will face off against rival Bishop Blanchet at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
