Softball Recap: Airline Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Airline was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Monroe Rebels. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

Airline's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for West Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Airline has already played their next game, a 9-1 win against Captain Shreve on the 25th. As for West Monroe, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-2 victory against Ruston on the 25th.
