Basketball Game Preview: Zionsville Eagles vs. North Central Panthers

The Zionsville Eagles will square off against the North Central Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Zionsville is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Pike just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 63-42. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Red Devils are ranked 17th).

Meanwhile, North Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 60-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ben Davis. The game was a 20-20 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Zionsville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for North Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
