It's playoff time, and Redwood had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Irvington Vikings 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Giants, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Redwood who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 20-25, 25-16, 21-25, 15-9.

Redwood pushed their record up to 26-7 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Irvington, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-13.

Coming up, Redwood will head out on the road to challenge International at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Giants surely won't give up without a fight. Irvington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
