Volleyball Recap: Minatare Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Minatare can now relate to. They came up short against the Crawford Rams on Monday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

Jimena Perez paced Minatare's offense, picking up ten kills. Perez got some help from Zoe Pedotto and her five assists. Pedotto was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Minatare's loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Crawford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-10.

Minatare does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crawford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Hay Springs on the 28th.
