Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lubbock). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Coronado Mustangs on Friday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Westerners as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lubbock's victory bumped their record up to 3-13-2. As for Coronado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13-4 record this season.

Lubbock will face off against Plainview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lubbock will be up against Plainview's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.83 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Coronado, they will square off against Tascosa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
