Basketball Recap: Montevideo Takes a Loss

Montevideo was the 49-27 winner over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Montevideo Thunderhawks fell 54-45 to the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers on Tuesday. The Thunderhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montevideo's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.

Montevideo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 76-66 defeat against B O L D on the 31st. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta has also already played their next game, a 70-52 victory against Benson on the 31st.
