Baseball Game Preview: East vs. Mineral Ridge Rams

East will venture away from home to square off against the Mineral Ridge Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. East will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

On Wednesday, East made easy work of Chaney and carried off a 12-1 win. The game marked East's most dominant victory of the season.

East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Francisco Rodriguez Santos, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Abimael Torres was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Mineral Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Jackson-Milton by a score of 7-6.

East's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Mineral Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. East has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mineral Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
