Basketball Recap: Palisades Comes Up Short

Palisades lost against Bangor back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Palisades Pirates were beaten by the Bangor Slaters 74-27. The matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Palisades' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sebastian LaRosa, who posted 11 points.

Palisades' loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bangor, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Palisades will challenge Southern Lehigh at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Bangor, they are taking a road trip to square off against Jim Thorpe at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Bangor is facing Jim Thorpe at the right time seeing as Jim Thorpe is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
