Softball Recap: Orange Panthers vs. Carrboro Jaguars

While Orange put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Carrboro. The Panthers blew past the Jaguars 20-0. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Lexi Bowes looked comfortable as she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Hayleigh Hammond was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run and four runs. Kylee Allen was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
