Dewar strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Salina Wildcats as they made off with a 9-2 win. Considering the Dragons have won 22 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

AIDEN TOMLINSON spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on P. Kilhoffer, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was S. Yaeger, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Dewar pushed their record up to 27-0 with the victory, which was their 40th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Salina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-10 record this season.

Dewar will take on Panama at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dragons 1.4, the Razorbacks 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Salina, they are taking a road trip to take on Kansas at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
